forgot to update during the weekend. - sorry for all the tweets.

the AZ fetishball turned out to be a super blast and the after party is probably the best i’ve been to in a long while.
major plus = the heated pool
seriously, the pool was warmer than the room we were in - and the shower too come to think of it.
but i’m jumping ahead.

so let’s see, Thursday me & Samar flew in.
I was so excited to be at an airport finally.
I felt so elated, almost high on drugs or something.
i think i’m definitely addicted to flying & airports. Just queuing up to go through the security area made me happy and i almost fumbled (that is, I usually go through quite efficiently but this time I almost did things out of order and took more time).

SJC has had some large changes. i’m not sure i like all of it but the new areas are pretty and impressive.
The changes make it look more international i suppose. that’s not a bad thing.

the flight to PHX was uneventful

landing in PHX, Samar was thrilled to find plenty of ways to feed her caffeine addiction

All of Friday was about sitting on the couch at Cookie & Steve’s while watching period films (hello jane austin)
Then we shifted to the hotel and headed out to a club called Transzlvania.
Do I have to mention it was goth night?
We made sure not to wear black.

then it was back to hotel to party a bit before bed.

We were awoken at 6am to hotel neighbors checking in but not able to open the door.
they proceeded to try and kick the door in for about 10 minutes.
we were not happy.
i called the front desk to tell them to sort it out.

Saturday we took care of errands which included breakfast at Ihop:

We also hit target where we bought some of our show supplies including ear plugs and cute socks.
the earplugs turned out to be a good idea as we were soon to discover.

Then it was back to the hotel to sort out the music and rest while waiting for Cookie’s friend to take us to home depot.
i really like that place. we got tape, zip ties and tarps for the show.
Oh, and we hit Krispy Kreme for some more important items: 3 dozen doughnuts.

left sacto for the drive home so i could get my shit together.

flight is at 10h55 but with the crap with the security at airports, i guess we gotta be there at like before 6am.
hopefully 9am will be ok.

i need to get to packing. the idea was to pack for AZ and also have my atlanta/tampa stuff sorted out.
i guess i’ll figure the latter out when i’m AZ cuz i can’t be bothered at this point.
